8 Days and counting
With 8 days remaining until the opening of the new Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport, time is flying by. Last minute preparations are still being made as workers rush to meet the May 23rd scheduled opening.
A grand opening celebration is being planned for the weekend of May 23rd; with the first official Southwest plane departure scheduled for takeoff on opening day.
Of course like everything, the construction of the new airport has it’s share of proponents and critics. Only time will tell if the adage of Built it and they will come plays out.
Of course, the St. Joe Co. is banking on some huge payoffs as previously discussed.
