I previously discussed the great news that our local Air Force Base received in July. Well, here’s some even better news. An article in the Panama City News Herald reports that Tyndall Air Force Base received word on Tuesday that additional planes will be coming to Bay County.
The additional planes will consist of a T-38 Talon detachment to compliment the F-22 squadron that will be arriving in phases.
Our area can certainly use some good news for a change; especially with the high unemployment levels. A round of applause to our local and State leaders for continuing to fight for our local installations.
